The journey begins in one of Central India's most historic cities.
Upon arrival in Gwalior, you will be received and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, begin exploring the city with a visit to Jai Vilas Palace, an elegant royal residence known for its magnificent Durbar Hall and impressive museum collection. Continue to the historic Gwalior Bazaar area and enjoy a leisurely evening discovering the city's local flavours and vibrant atmosphere.

A full day among forts, temples, and royal history.
After breakfast, proceed for a comprehensive tour of Gwalior. Visit the majestic Gwalior Fort, dramatically perched atop a sandstone hill overlooking the city. Explore Man Singh Palace, Gujari Mahal, Sas Bahu Temples, and Teli Ka Mandir, each reflecting different periods of the region's architectural heritage.
Spend the evening at leisure or enjoy panoramic sunset views from the fort complex before returning to the hotel.

From a fortress city to a riverside kingdom.
After breakfast, drive to Orchha (approximately 120 km / 3 hours). Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and begin exploring this charming medieval town situated on the banks of the Betwa River.
Visit the Orchha Fort Complex, including the magnificent Jahangir Mahal and Raja Mahal, renowned for their murals, courtyards, and intricate architecture. Later, visit the Ram Raja Temple and Chaturbhuj Temple before enjoying a peaceful evening by the riverside cenotaphs of the Bundela rulers.

A drive through Bundelkhand to India's finest temple city.
After breakfast, proceed to Khajuraho (approximately 180 km / 4 hours). On arrival, check in at the hotel and begin exploring the celebrated Western Group of Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visit Kandariya Mahadev Temple, Lakshmana Temple, Vishwanath Temple, and Devi Jagdambi Temple, admired for their remarkable carvings and exquisite craftsmanship. In the evening, you may attend the Light and Sound Show for an introduction to the history of the Chandela dynasty.

A final day among the temple spires of Khajuraho.
After breakfast, visit the Eastern and Southern Group of Temples, offering further insight into the artistic and spiritual heritage of the region. You may also explore local handicraft shops and cultural centres before your departure.
Later, transfer to Khajuraho Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, taking with you memories of royal cities, riverside palaces, and some of India's most extraordinary monuments.
