A sacred introduction to the City of Mahakal, where devotion, history, and spirituality come together. Upon arrival at Indore Airport or Railway Station, you will be received and driven to Ujjain (about 55 km / 1.5 hours), one of the seven sacred cities of Hinduism. After check-in, begin your exploration with a visit to the revered Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Continue to Harsiddhi Temple, Kal Bhairav Temple, Mangalnath Temple, and Sandipani Ashram, believed to be the place where Lord Krishna received his education. Following the sacred course of the Narmada to one of India's most revered Jyotirlingas. After breakfast, depart for Omkareshwar (about 140 km / 3.5 hours), a revered pilgrimage destination situated on a picturesque island shaped like the sacred symbol ‘Om’ in the Narmada River. On arrival, visit the famous Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue to Mamleshwar Temple and spend time exploring the serene ghats and temple-lined pathways along the river. The peaceful setting of the Narmada and the spiritual significance of the island make Omkareshwar one of Central India's most cherished pilgrimage destinations. From sacred shrines to royal heritage, ending the journey along the timeless Narmada. After breakfast, drive to Maheshwar (about 65 km / 1.5 hours), the historic riverside capital of Queen Ahilyabai Holkar. Visit the magnificent Ahilya Fort, overlooking the Narmada River, and explore the beautifully carved temples and ghats that have made Maheshwar one of the most picturesque towns in India. Spend time observing artisans weaving the famous Maheshwari sarees, a tradition patronized by Ahilyabai Holkar herself. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the riverfront before departing for Indore (about 95 km / 2 hours). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Indore Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
